In May 2025 it will be the 40th Anniversary of the Bradford City Fire Disaster where 54 Bradford City Fans and 2 Lincoln City Fans never returned home from a game of football. In aid of this, Bradford Fire station are arranging and taking part in a number of events leading up to the Anniversary, including Fire Station open days & charity evening, a Football Match at Valley Parade between Bradford Fire Station vs Bradford City legends and a Black tie evening with guest speaker, DEAN WINDASS amongst some of the highlights.

The main event however is a 75 mile Walk ON 4th/5th April from Lincoln City Football Stadium to Bradford City Football Stadium along with some of our colleagues from Lincoln Fire Station and ex Bradford City Legends, GARY JONES, JAMES HANSON & BILLY CLARKE!

Please dig deep into your pockets as every penny helps to get to our target of £56,000 in memory of the 56.

If we go beyond this target, we are looking to spread the extra fundraising across local charities, the Bradford city foundation and the firefighters Charity.
