Story
In celebration of Migrant Help 60th Anniversary, on Thursday 22nd February from 12pm- 6pm, a variety of artwork produced by Migrant Help Modern Slavery Victim Care Team staff and service users, will be exhibited at our Oxford Office.
We would love for you to view and bid on some of the artwork using the link below!
We have found that while art in its many formats, is often sidelined as a human need, the pursuit of art is sometimes the only thing that helps improve the wellbeing of our clients and enables them to cope with the traumatic experiences they have been through. Similarly, it provides a therapeutic outlet for staff, many of whom risk burnout, dealing with the complex and traumatic experiences of their client’s day in day out. So, this event is to celebrate the power of art and how it has helped clients and staff alike, celebrate their talents and channel this into raising money to help meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable, so they too have the means and opportunity to pursue the things they love, like art.
We warmly invite those based at the Old Music Hall and our colleagues at Migrant Help to join us in viewing the artwork on display.
All donations are gratefully received, and will go toward Migrant Help 'Crisis Fund' which provides vital supplies and basic provisions for some of the most vulnerable people we support. This can help prevent further suffering of people who have already faced the unimaginable.
