Hello, I am raising money for the Eastwood Memory Cafe as the support and care they have shown to my family in a tough time is truly heartwarming.

They helped Colin, my Grandad to keep his mind busy and help him to fight the cruel illness that is trying to take him! My Grandad has always been a fighter, he has often Slain Dragons at the top of his garden since I was a kid. 🐉

The Memory Cafe has also been helping Margaret, my Gran to keep social and she also won a large teddy on one of her visits. 🧸

Founded in 2017, Eastwood Memory Cafe is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation helping and supporting people affected by dementia and their carers.

WHY 619

I had joked to my friends and run club, if I got the number 619 for the Ramathon (Half Marathon) I would run it dressed as Rey Mysterio 🇲🇽. This was unlikely as you couldn't select numbers. Until...

We went in to collect our numbers and 619 was available so.....

I will be running the Ramathon dressed as Rey Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio is widely dubbed as The Greatest Luchador in history and I would agree.

His colourful superhero like masks, his jaw-dropping high-flying moves, the nicknames;

The Biggest Little Man

The Ultimate Underdog

The Master Of The 619.

& being 5ft6 are clear reasons to why he is one of my biggest inspirations.

THE GOAL

We have 10 days till the event but our aim is to raise £619 for the Memory Cafe. So please even if it is 50p, £1, £2 every little helps towards the goal and to help a organisation that cares so much.
