The Annual Charity Dunwich 6 Village walk

Group Walk · 4 November 2023
I will be hosting a group walk in Suffolk, the 6 Pub walk, or the 6 Suffolk village walk.
This year I have the unprecedented number of 38 walkers joining me.

The walk is in aid of The Lewis Foundation, who I have supported since its inception in 2016 after they supported his sister whilst she was undergoing cancer treatment.
The Lewis Foundation started their charity work around 2016; my sister, Janet, was in hospital suffering with bowel cancer, and whilst visiting her one evening we met a group of people going around the cancer ward giving out these goodie bags free of charge to the cancer patients.
My sister was totally overwhelmed with their generosity and each Friday when The Lewis Foundation visited, it really did light up their evening.
I would love if by taking part in this you could make a donation to support the work of The Lewis Foundation.
What The Lewis Foundation does?
At The Lewis Foundation we source, package and hand deliver gift packs for free to adult cancer patients in hospitals in the Midlands and the community weekly. These are items that patients might find difficult to buy themselves or simply cannot afford – and that brings people happiness and comfort at a difficult time. For many people in hospital and the community, our volunteers are their only regular visitors. We currently provide over 2000 gifts per month to 17 hospitals. People can pick a gift of their choice for free from our gift list.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
