ALUMNI ASSEMBLE!!
On Saturday the 6th September, give back to SMK Gateway by supporting the SMK Alumni ride; part of our 7 Days of Cycling fundraiser in aid of The Seed Centre building fund - a new community hub, and home for SMK based in Heelands.
The ride will be lead by SMK legend, former Mayor Marie Bradburn, and SMK CEO Tony Oyakhire - two people who have been hugely instrumental in our lives. Whether we attended Neath Hill, Lloyds Court, The Point or Avebury Boulevard - we have all benefitted from SMK and now it is our turn to give back.
As we ride we will be raising awareness for SMK Gateway (aka SIEVE) - a local charity who have been operating since 2007, creating opportunities, delivering excellence and changing lives through tutoring and mentoring our most disadvantaged communities.
The Seed Centre will provide a permanent residence for SMK to continue their work and enable them to expand their offerings and support for our community.
The warm and welcoming café will provide more jobs in the local area and will act as a social and networking hub for people of all ages and walks of life. The Seed Centre will be a safe space for youths and the entrepreneurial hub will support the next generation of business moguls. The additional hall space will mean that SMK will have more opportunities to collaborate, and support other local businesses and organisations to deliver both social and community initiatives.
We are building, growing, and creating a better, brighter future TOGETHER.
So please, click the button, donate, and select Gift Aid! Let's raise as much money as we can for SMK so the legacy can continue for generations to come.
