Chris Mordey was a well liked and respected member of our community and a regular early morning face in Houghton's 24 hour gym, Evolution.

Sadly Chris was diagnosed with cancer and just 7 weeks later passed away.

Members from Evolution Fitness Gym have set up a team to carry what seems to be a Nissan Juke from the Wearside Car Plant back, 7 miles to The Gym on Newbottle Street in Houghton Le Spring in Chris's Memory while hoping to exceed £1,000 for his chosen charity - St Benedicts Hospice.
