Story
We are collectively climbing the height of Everest in one day (12 hours) for My Mito Mission, mitochondrial disease charity!
Each wall is approx. 4m, so we will need to complete about 2213 climbs between our team - so the more people on board, the better. We will be using a counter on the day so we can easily see how close we are to our goal (the summit!).
We're hoping for a team of around 15 people, spending different amounts of time throughout the day climbing at the gym in Leeds. And at least 3 of us will be spending the full 12 hours there!
All in aid of My Mito Mission, who raise awareness of mitochondrial disease, a genetic energy production illness that can be life-limiting and debilitating. 'Mito', as it's known, affects all ages from birth, and can be very severe in symptoms and prognosis.
