Story
This September, 9 Great Britain Underwater Hockey players (Rupert, Declan, Tom P, Tom B, Fletch, Joe, Harry, Matt J and James C) are ditching the speedos and jumping on our bikes to embark on a different challenge. We'll be taking on the North Coast 500 in just 5 days!
That's 500 miles of brutal climbs through the Scottish Highlands, dodgy weather and avoiding midge bites. Thankfully, we'll be supported along the way by Haydn in the motorhome, keeping us on track (and hopefully in one piece!).
Following the tragic loss of Rosalind Hodge, the mother of a member of the GB UWH squad, we're raising money for Alzheimer's Society: a charity that provides vital support to people living with dementia and their families, funds groundbreaking research, and campaigns to ensure those affected get the care and dignity they deserve.
This will be a tough challenge, with long days in the saddle and plenty of hills to climb, but knowing we're riding for such an important cause will keep us going.
Every donation, big or small, will help support those living with dementia and bring us closer to a future without it.
Please support us if you can 💙
