Story
I completed London Marathon in 2023, pre diagnosis in DKA, I was in severe pain and collapsed 7 times and was in serious pain during the marathon, but my grit and determination got me through it (just).
The week after my condition got worse and eventually I was rushed to hospital and diagnosed type 1 diabetic.
2 Years later I have unfinished business with this race, I am now aiming to beat the world record for the fastest type 1 diabetic to run a marathon whilst raising money for an amazing cause that helps support those struggling with T1D.
