Andy & Becca are running the London Marathon 2025 for Princess Alice Hospice

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Unfortunately our Dad was struck with an aggressive form of oesophageal cancer back in 2019. This lead to his death quite rapidly in June of that same year. In his final days, he received the most wonderfully kind and compassionate care by the staff working at Princess Alice Hospice. They all contributed to him having the best death he could have possibly had.
This expert care allowed us to focus on the time we had left with our Dad. The Hospice became our second home for his 10 day stay. We felt in very safe hands.
As one of the nurses for The Hospice within the Night Response Team, I see first hand what difference this hands on care makes. Night Response visit patients in their own homes to offer support, provide symptom control and help with anything else the patient or their family might need!
Princess Alice Hospice provides a comprehensive range of services that respond to the individual needs of patients and their families, so that they can live life to the full, create memories, share special moments and when the time comes, support them through, before and after the death of a loved one.
It costs over £10 million each year to provide free, high quality specialist end of life care to tens of thousands of people with life threatening illnesses. We rely on wonderful supporters like you to help us to generate thousands of pounds through participating in events like TSC London Marathon.
Thank you so much for any contribution you can make.
