I'm taking part in the London Big Half and Oxford half marathons 2024 as the final part of the 5 half marathon challenge I set up as part of me and my sister’s 5th year anniversary of kidney transplant! As a living donor who gave my kidney in the living donor paired scheme,I have been continuing to try to raise awareness that life continues on as normal while giving someone else the opportunity of a normal life when donating.

This year to celebrate our 5th anniversary I’ve done 3 out of the 5 half marathons for Kidney care uk and macmillan charities. The final part of my challenge I really wanted to do for St Nicholas Hospice as i’ve had friends and our barber shop customers use it through difficult times and I know what a fantastic charity it is to raise money so they can continue their amazing work!
