Story
On Sunday 26th April 2026, I’ll be taking on the TCS London Marathon to raise money for Pilgrims Hospices.
I’m a local GP working in Canterbury, and I regularly work alongside Pilgrims to care for patients who need palliative and end-of-life support. I see every day just how much of a difference their team makes, not only for patients but also for their families during such difficult times.
The compassionate, skilled end-of-life care Pilgrims provides is truly invaluable to our community – free to thousands of people across east Kent every year supported through your generous donations.
Running 26.2 miles will be a massive challenge and those who know me will appreciate how far out of my comfort zone this is going to be! Knowing I’m doing it to support such an incredible charity will keep me motivated every step of the way.
I’d be so grateful for any donation you can give. Your generosity will directly help Pilgrims continue their vital work and ensure that patients and families in our community get the care and support they need, when they need it most.
Thank you so much for your support!
