Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My family has chosen to honour my Father's memory by making a charitable donation to The Stroke Association, and we are extremely grateful to you for making your generous contribution to support this cause in Kenneth's memory.

In Dad's case, the wonderful people at The Stroke Association were extremely helpful and supportive as he recovered from his recent stroke. As such, the family felt that this was a very worthy cause that we should support.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. The Stroke Association's specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from us all, they can rebuild even more lives.

We are assured that your details are safe with JustGiving and that they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
