In memory of Bethany’s brother, Lewis, we have decided to take on the 3 peaks in 24 hours challenge on June 21st 2024.

This challenge involves climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon - all within a 24 hour timeframe.

Scaling the peaks becomes a symbolic journey, mirroring the strength and resilience Lewis displayed during his battle. Each step up the rugged terrains symbolizes the uphill struggle of his fight in cancer and reaching the summit serves as a tribute to his enduring spirit. As we conquer these peaks, we not only look to honor Lewis's memory but also raise awareness and support for those facing similar challenges. The Three Peaks Challenge becomes a powerful way to celebrate his life, turning grief into a source of inspiration and hope for others.

We have chosen to raise money for Dreams Come True. A charity, whose mission, to bring joy to terminally and seriously ill children and young adults by making their treasured dreams come true!

Dreams Come True became involved with Lewis in the last year of his life after seeing Lewis's inspirational journey, this charity arranged and paid for Lewis to travel to Australia for 4 weeks, something which was his dream.

Sadly, Lewis never made it to Australia but it was an adventure that he so looked forward to and it kept him going through some of his toughest times. Never giving up hope that he would make it there.

We are aiming to help raise funds for other children and young adults to be given the chance to do something they have always dreamt of doing while going through the toughest times of their life.
