Story
This October, colleagues across All About Food Ltd will be taking part in a series of fundraising challenges, including Tough Mudder and the Manchester Half Marathon, taking place on the 10th and 11th. These events form part of our commitment to supporting Mustard Tree and raising awareness of the issues of poverty and homelessness within our local communities.
Throughout the month, we will also be recognising World Poverty Day, which is October 17th each year, through a range of fundraising and engagement activities. Employees will have the opportunity to get involved in initiatives including a Halloween bake-off and a food donation drive to support Mustard Tree's vital work across Greater Manchester.
Mustard Tree combats poverty and prevents homelessness.
They are a Greater Manchester Charity that creates opportunities for people and communities to help themselves through practical support, life skills and connections into work.
They provide food, clothing, furniture and other essentials alongside crisis support, courses, classes and training, all in the same building.
This wrap-around approach gives people the dignity, confidence and tools they need to build themselves back up.
But only with your help.
