I'm completing 31 Miles in July to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. This is a very meaningful cause for me as cancer is a disease that like many family’s affected mine in many ways to include losing my father at a young age. I’ve always enjoyed fund raising through events like Relay for Life but once I deployed I kind of got away from that. I’m doing this 31 miles in July not to just promote cancer research but also to promote living a healthy and active lifestyle which I think is a huge step in living a longer better life!
