Hello everyone,

This page has been set up to raise money for the incredible work that the people at Macmillan do on a daily basis. To show my support I will be running the Bath Half Marathon on the 16th March 2025, on behalf of Macmillan in the bright green vest we all know so well, I will also be running this on behalf of my Dad who we lost in June 2023 to a short and brutal battle with stage four terminal lung and bone cancer. I never understood or appreciated the work that the people do day in day out at Macmillan, and you never do till it is your loved one they support. We were so lucky to have Macmillan supporting my Dad from his diagnosis to his end of life care, I want to do my bit to help make sure that someone else's family receives the same. Family is everything to me so I will end this with a quote from Baz Luhrmann that has always stuck with me - "Get to know your parents, you never know when they'll be gone for good. Be nice to your siblings, they're your best link to your past. And the people most likely to stay with you in the future". Love you Dad.
