On September 22nd I will be taking part in Ironman Wales in Tenby raising money for Wotton Pool in memory of my Dad who we sadly lost in 2021.

Ironman Wales consists of a 2.4 mile swim (215 lengths of Wotton Pool), a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.22 mile run.

Dave volunteered at the pool for many years helping with the maintenance and always enjoyed getting involved - to pay tribute, the pool named the drainage system "Daves Drains".

The pool is a key part of the town and provides a space for the local community to keep fit and swim. As a charity and non-profit many of the staff are volunteers so any donation will help to develop the pool for years to come.

My Mum still volunteers at the pool to this day helping to run a Ladies Therapeutic session.
