On 30th May 2024 our world was completely rocked when my daughter tragically gave birth to a stillborn baby girl - our perfect 'sleeping beauty' Alaina Iris. This heartbreaking loss was, and still is so hard to come to terms with, but the support offered by all organisations involved was truly fantastic - some of these people really are real life angels!

On 21st September I am running a solo 24 hour off-road race (Equinox24) to raise money for Our Angels charity, who provide unwavering care for grieving families at times of loss such as ours. This will be a big challenge fitness-wise, but the pain I will feel doing this pales into insignificance compared to what my daughter and her partner have been through, and continue to go through. If you would like to give a few pennies to this fabulous cause it would be massively appreciated by so many heartbroken families.
