We're fundraising to send 'Team Leeds' to the Transplant Games, an annual sporting event celebrating transplant patients and the donor families. This year the games will be held in Nottingham in 2024!!

Story

We're fundraising for the Children's Transplant Team because...

Our son Aaron received the gift of a new liver in September 2022, after spending all his childhood suffering from a rare life-threatening metabolic disease called Ornithine Transcarbamylase Deficiency.

His life has been transformed and he is now able to be almost just like any other 13 year old. Last year he joined the Leeds Children's Transplant Team at the British Transplant Games in Coventry. He met other children just like him: who had the same condition he was born with and now have the same scar as him. It was a truly uplifting experience for him and us as a family and seeing him able to take part was something we will never forget.

This year we would love to take Aaron to the games in Nottingham and share more precious moments celebrating how far and how much stronger he has became.

Please help us reach our goal of £1000.
