I am attempting this huge challenge in memory of my Granny Nel who passed away 5 years ago in Roxburghe house after a very short 4 week battle with brain cancer. During this time we had entered our first ever Covid lockdown and unfortunately I never got the chance to visit my Granny to say good bye. However the incredible staff at Roxburghe house went above and beyond and ensured Granny Nel was comfortable until the end. I will be forever grateful to them but now feel at 10 years old I can give them something in return and challenge myself to raise as much money as possible by taking on this massive hike. I will be attempting the “7 peaks for a purpose” at the end of August 2025 and will begin training in April.

Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated and all money raised will be donated to Roxburghe house, Dundee.

Roxburghe house is a purpose built specialist palliative care unit. Staffed by a dedicated team.
