In addition to providing a state-of-the-art dialysis facility to a large population in Northern Pakistan, Pakistan Kidney Centre has now become a centre of excellence for treatment of kidney stones - only one of its kind in the entire country.

Over 100,000 dialysis sessions delivered with numbers going up daily Alhamdulillah.

It is providing minimally invasive treatments such as laser treatment for stones and key-hole surgery for stone removal since Nov 2020 to whosoever comes to its doors irrespective of their ability to pay.

It has now expanded its services to include Lithotripsy Treatment for Kidney stones - an effective way to treat stones without anaesthesia or surgery. The most modern version of this machine - electro-magnetic lithotripter with automated stone localisation has been acquired and installed. It became fully functional in July 2022.

Over 3500 kidney stone patients successfully treated using these techniques in last 04 years.

Moving forwards Laparoscopic (Key-hole surgery) Urology successfully introduced in Aug 2023. The good work goes on. Targets for 2025 include installation of on-site CT scan and getting the center ready for renal transplantation in future.
