Abbey's Skydive for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

Skydive!
What a night, and what a journey this is turning into
We raised £1,120 through ticket sales alone, with another £100 donated from the bar, all before even launching the fundraising page. I’m completely blown away.
To everyone who came — friends, colleagues, clients, candidates, volunteers, family, and even those who found the event online — thank you. You brought such warmth and energy, and made the night so, so special.
Huge shoutout to Carlo Carello and the amazing team at Gallery for hosting us so beautifully, and for donating part of the bar spend to the cause. We’re already dreaming up next year’s event — bigger, better, and with auctions, surprises, and even more impact.
So, what’s next?
In September, I’ll be jumping out of a plane for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. And this time, I won’t be doing it alone. A friend is joining me, jumping for their own charity, which feels incredibly special.
Why this means so much
For almost four years, I’ve spent every Saturday volunteering at The Royal Marsden in Chelsea, helping across different wards. These days I’m on Wilson Ward, supporting patients after major surgery, mostly for throat cancer.
I help with the basics — eating, drinking, walking — the things that become massive after treatment. It’s raw, emotional, and full of moments that stay with you.
The Marsden isn’t just a hospital. It’s a place of innovation, care, and quiet strength. I’ve seen first-hand how deeply it matters, and I want to give something back.
A little love for the volunteer crew
I’m about to start a new volunteer role there, which I’m genuinely excited about. And I want to say a proper thank you to Careece and Genesis, who somehow still volunteer almost every Saturday, alongside full-time jobs and Masters degrees. You’re both brilliant.
No, Bungee the bunny won’t be skydiving. He wanted to, but the centre has a strict no-rabbit policy. He’ll be cheering from home in protest.
🚗 If anyone’s driving to Kent in September, Isabella Egerton and I are still looking for a lift.
More photos from the night are coming soon. If you’d still like to get involved, support, or just follow along — thank you. It truly means a lot.
This whole journey has grown in ways I didn’t expect, and we’re only just getting started.
