Hello!

I'm excited to be running the Hackney Half Marathon this May to support the Ministry of Stories, a local not-for-profit organisation based in the London Borough of Hackney.

A writing centre tucked behind a fantastical shop on Hoxton Street, the Ministry of Stories delivers a range of innovative writing programmes, workshops and mentoring for young people in east London.

I'm running and fundraising in memory of my dear friend Corey who I lost last year. He was a brilliant writer, storyteller and thinker who helped me become a better communicator and leader. Corey was dedicated to improving the lives of those around him and would have loved a powerful creative space like the Ministry of Stories.

The organisation inspires young writers to develop their confidence, imagination, and storytelling skills to help them realise their creative potential. They also provide a safe space for free, after-school writing labs as well as a publishing platform for young people to share their voices with the broader community.

I'm incredibly grateful to Corey and everyone who has mentored me throughout the years and hope I can provide the same mentorship and support to others.
