At activpayroll, we have always believed in the power of community and the importance of giving back. This year, nearly 30 of our dedicated colleagues from Aberdeen are excited to participate in the "Maggie's Aberdeen Culture Crawl 2025" on June 20, 2025. We are coming together to raise much-needed funds for a charity that has been close to our hearts for many years.

Cancer affects us all, whether directly or through someone we love. Maggie’s centres stand as a beacon of hope for anyone impacted by this disease. Since opening its first centre in Edinburgh in 1996, Maggie’s has expanded to offer free services at 17 centres across the UK and beyond. Each centre is staffed with professional care providers—Benefits Advisors, Psychologists, and Nutritionists—who are ready to support visitors through their journey.

Maggie’s Aberdeen is particularly special to us; it provides a unique programme of practical and psychological support at no cost to those facing cancer and their loved ones. The centre is designed by leading architects to create an uplifting environment that is warm, welcoming, and filled with light. It is a place where individuals can find hope, determination, and the resources they need during one of life’s toughest challenges.
