Walking 62 miles in March for PLANETS Cancer Charity

Walk 62 miles in March
NETS (Neuroendocrine Tumours) is a rare form of Cancer that on average takes 4.5 years to diagnose. Most patients have to revisit GPs / Hospitals 11 times before it’s discovered. This is partly because of a general lack of knowledge around its existence due to its rarity.
Unfortunately, my mum has been diagnosed with NETS after having to live in pain and discomfort for a significant amount of time before the cancer was diagnosed.
As well as raising awareness of this type of cancer, i will also be walking 62 miles through March to raise money and support the charity group ‘Planets’ who specialise in research for advanced cancer and provide support groups for those affected.
Cancer doesn’t just affect the diagnosed patient. It affects everyone in a vast amount of ways and i’d like your help with any donations you can spare towards this life changing cause.
