We offer riding and carriage driving to children and adults with disabilities or additional needs. We also offer ‘Tea with a Pony’ sessions and an Equine Assisted Learning Therapy (EALT) programme. We rely on voluntary help, donations and legacies to deliver our services

Story

On Friday 30th August 2024 I am going to walk on fire to raise money for the Magpie Centre, West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled Association.

The Magpie Centre offers a wide range of activities such as Riding and Carriage Driving to all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability. It costs around £200,000 a year to run the centre and to keep offering their vital work offering enjoyment and therapy to all the clients through activities with their horses and ponies.

The Magpie Centre has enabled me to do something i never thought i would be able to do again - get behind the ears of a horse, although further away than what i was used to, i am now a fully qualified Carriage Driving Instructor which is something i absolutely love doing!

Please help me raise money for the centre by donating any amount possible :)
