At the end of December I am taking on my biggest challenge yet - climbing Kilimanjaro with my dad! Standing as the tallest mountain in Africa and tallest freestanding mountain in the world, it’s going to be an incredible experience.

Having sprained my MCL in April this year, this feels slightly more daunting but also means so much more to me. This is going to be my biggest challenge so far and I wanted to use this opportunity to try and raise further funds for Carlisle Eden Mind, my local branch of the mental health charity MIND.

Mental health is something I am deeply passionate about, not just professionally but personally. I worked closely with Carlisle Eden Mind in 2017/18 having volunteered at events for them as well as doing a sponsored skydive and raising over £2,500 for them when I did Everest Base Camp back in 2024. Having lost a family member to suicide and struggling with my own mental health in the past, this is super close to my heart and I know how vital the work they do is.
