Magic Bus enables some of the world's poorest families to move out of poverty. Using a mentoring model and a sport-based curriculum engages children and ensures that they make the right choices so that they have a constructive journey from childhood through to livelihood.

I’m off to Mumbai in India to work with the Magic Bus charity as a volunteer on March 12th for 5 weeks, working with very underprivileged children and young adults. I will be helping teach English, English farming as well as play sports, notably cricket, but football and hockey as part of their livelihood program. I will also be staying with some local families to understand what it’s like to live in Mumbai.

I am trying to fundraise for this trip for the children / young adults. I want to make a difference to those who are less privileged than myself.
