Moonlight Walk 2025 · 21 June 2025 ·

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £10.5million+ we need each year to fund our services.

Story

My Dad (Symon Young) and I are taking part in this years Moonlight Walk, at Chichester College, raising for St Wildrid’s Hospice, who not only has cared for many family and friends over the years have continued to be an ongoing support, and a place to remember these wonderful people by.

There are too many people who we have so sadly lost, especially in more recent years, to name, but my Dad, lost his Mum Greta Byers (Young) just 1 year ago, the day after the walk, and we hope she will be watching us!

St Wilfrid’s Hospice is an independent charity that has been supporting local people in your community who are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness, for over 35 years. Our vision is for all dying people and their loved ones to have access to the support and care they need.

With your help, we support over 325 people at any one time, from our 14-bed ward at the Hospice and our Hospice Community team visiting people at home.
