I’m running my first marathon, Manchester Marathon 2026 and raising money for Age UK Oldham, specifically to support Bluebell, a dementia day care clinic.

Age UK provides care and support for people later in life, whatever their needs may be. Bluebell, in particular, supports people living with dementia and their loved ones by offering a safe, secure day care service and a supportive community for families in similar situations.

This charity is very close to my family, and running the Manchester Marathon, so close to home and to the charity itself—felt like the right way to show my support for my grandparents and others affected by dementia.
