As most people know my son Ethan was born, effectively ,with no immune system. This is a genetic condition that we unfortunately found out about through the death of his cousin Scott, who didn't survive past 9 months old. This charity supports the unit that provided both Ethan and his other cousin Rhys with the life saving treatment they needed. Without this neither of them would have survived past their first year. The charity is vital in the ongoing research for improvement in detection, through heel prick testing, and treatments for other children born with the same condition.
