On Sunday 3rd May I'm going to be doing a sky dive to raise money for Galgos Del Sol! 🪂

As February 1st marks the end of hunting season in Spain it seems a good time to share this and raise awareness. From this date tens of thousands of hunting dogs (mainly Galgos and Podencos) are no longer deemed "useful" and are therefore abandoned, abused or killed. 💔 Prior to this many of them spend their lives chained up, isolated and deprived of basic care. Shelters such as Galgos Del Sol are inundated with injured, starving and terrifed dogs which is truly heartbreaking. The charity does such an incredible job at rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming these sweet dogs, who for the first time are feeling the love they deserve. ❤️‍🩹

Anyone who's ever come into contact with a sighthound knows just how gentle and loving they are. Having grown up with rescue Greyhounds and having an Italian Greyhound of my own I feel passionate about trying to help where I can. Whether you're a sighthound lover, dog lover or an animal lover in general I'd honestly be so so grateful for any contribution, big or small! 🫶🏼

Now there's the small matter of jumping out of a plane which I can't even think about right now! It will be the scariest thing I've ever done however I'm hoping this will help in someway towards those poor pups 🐕
