Following on from my Mother's passing from Lung cancer earlier this year, I've decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK (again) by signing up for Ultra comedy, Birmingham.

Earlier this year I raised money for the 1000 Lights concert, run by UPRAWR Mental Health Foundation which was the most amazing experience to play alongside Linkin Park UK and a 1000 musicians!

I might not be funny- ha ha as much as funny-looking but thought I'd try my hand at stand-up comedy - a bucket list item I've had since university where I and my best mates wrote comedy sketches and musical plays to rapturous applause and rotten tomatoes (that's how people show appreciation, right?)

As life gets busier and I become more responsible (is what I tell credit card companies), it's harder to find the comedy in life...

This amazing opportunity has helped me learn with a fantastic group of fellow amateur comics and our amazing teacher Tom Short, about the writing process and the most human thing of all - death and taxes; no sorry COMEDY!
