As a Youth Development Lead Employability at The King's Trust, I work closely with ELHT NHS.

Through our partnership, ELHT provides valuable employment opportunities for young people facing barriers to employment. The staff invest significant time supporting and training young people through e-learning, inductions, and placements. ELHT will be employing the 250th young person from our programmes this year.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit some of the young people who have started their careers at ELHT. Seeing their progress, alongside witnessing the staff caring for patients in a fast-paced hospital environment made me realize the importance of Trust in our community.

For this, I am taking on a tandem skydive to raise funds for the A&E Department, where every second can make a difference.

I don't mind taking up a challenge and spending a few minutes in the sky if it supports people on the ground. Cheers :)
