Tunbridge Wells-based fitness studio, ABEL Collective, is heading back to London this October to take on the Battle Cancer endurance challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Part of a global network of fitness events, Battle Cancer features three high-intensity fitness zones, combining strength, endurance and teamwork. Founder Alison Abel will be leading 5 squads of four women as they tackle nine gruelling stations of cardio and strength exercises.

Every pound raised counts as points on the leaderboard, making fundraising a core part of the competition alongside physical performance. At last year’s event at London’s Olympia, ABEL Collective raised over £2,800 for Breast Cancer.

“Our mission this year is to go harder and stronger as we support Cancer Research UK, an amazing charity that is close to our members and their families.” Alison explains. “We’re training hard and we’re excited to see how much we can raise for this important cause”.
