Odds And Socks Day 2026 - Dancing for Donations

Catherine Charlwood is raising money for Huntington's Disease Association
Join us in celebrating Odds And Socks Day on 27 February! Wear and share your wildest odd socks to help us raise awareness of the disease as well as vital funds for people affected by Huntington’s disease.

Story

When not on mat leave, I work alongside some wonderful charities like the Huntington's Disease Association (HDA). Throughout pregnancy my odd socks led to important conversations about HD.

This Odds and Socks Day, I will film little odd sock dances for every donation. I'm @aberballet on Instagram. It could be a bit of ballet, some Charleston, jive - who knows what little dance in odd socks you will get! NB. your dance might not be immediate due to wrangling my near-8-month-old, but it will happen!

I've seen HDA in action and they're a charity I really believe in.

The Huntington's Disease Association supports anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We pursue the best possible care; provide training & advice to families and professionals; raise awareness, and promote research towards better treatment and care.
