We build electric eco-fences in Africa to protect Africa's threatened ecosystems

Story

In our 11th year of competing in the Rhino Charge, we are dedicated to raising funds for the Rhino Ark charity. Their work in protecting Kenya's Forest Ecosystems and running livelihood projects in the surrounding communities is crucial. The forests not only support wildlife and act as carbon sinks but also provide a reliable water system for East Africa.

With your support, we can continue to install and maintain high-quality fencing with wildlife corridors around Kenya's primary mountain forests, preventing human-wildlife conflict, logging, and environmental degradation. As the climate changes and rains become less reliable in East Africa, this work becomes increasingly important.

To date, our team has raised over $75,000. We are confident of our best performance yet in 2024 and will give it our all!

Rhino Ark raises money for the building of electric eco-fences around mountain ecosystems in Kenya, namely Aberdare National Park, Mt. Kenya and Mau Eburu. These provide an "ark" for wildlife such as rhino, leopard, elephant and mountain bongo as well as protecting vital upland watertables of Kenya
