Story
A visit to the doctor with a sore ankle resulted in the decision to give me a mot. This quickly led to being delivered the devastating news I had aggressive prostate cancer. It is one of the hardest and most overwhelming days of my life. My main reason for pushing awareness is my cancer carries no symptoms and my saviour was in my test.
Cancer brings fear, uncertainty, and challenges you never expect to face. But through this journey, I’ve also learned the importance of hope, support, and the people who stand beside you when you need them most.
By organising this golf day, I want to help raise awareness of prostate cancer and highlight the importance of early detection and treatment.
I’m raising money for Prostate Scotland to support men and families going through similar experiences, and to help ensure more people get the support and information they need.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference and is hugely appreciated. Thank you for your kindness, support, and encouragement — it truly means a lot. I will keep you posted.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
