Tyrants of the Society — Charity Tournament

On Sunday 1st November 2026, Anlaby Board Games Society is bringing our gaming community together for a very special day of tabletop gaming — all in aid of Chasing Rainbows Charity.

Tyrants of the Society is a competitive tournament centred around Tyrants of the Underdark, bringing together board gamers from across Hull and East Yorkshire for a day of strategy, competition and, most importantly, fun.

But this isn’t just about who can claim victory.

We’re using our love of board games to raise money for Chasing Rainbows Charity, helping support the amazing work they do for families and children.

Whether you’re taking part in the tournament, cheering from the sidelines, sponsoring a player, or simply making a donation, every contribution will help us raise as much as possible for this fantastic cause.

At Anlaby Board Games Society, we believe board games are about more than winning. They’re about bringing people together, making friends and creating a welcoming community, and we’re delighted to put that community spirit towards something that can make a real difference.
