This year Abharm is working to raise money for the incredible charity Mermaids

Mermaids is a UK charity working to support transgender, non-binary and gender diverse children, young people and their families. Mermaids' vision is a safe, inclusive society where trans children and young people are empowered to live their best lives.

This cause is close to the committees' heart with Amber (Treasurer) being trans herself. In todays world trans people face discrimination, prejudice and are actively having rights removed, and this is worse more than ever for trans children, especially in the uk. This makes Mermaids a light in the dark for many and Abharms charity of choice for the 2025/26 University year

Every donation made through Just Giving will allow Mermaids to support more young trans people, giving them the freedom to explore their gender identity and thrive.
