Story
Hello, I'm Izzy and last year my mum was diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer. A mass, the size of a rugby ball was removed through a huge surgery. Unfortunately the cancer has come back, so Mum is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the wonderful Royal Marsden hospital in London. Just a couple days ago we had the most amazing news, mums currently only a quarter the way through chemo and the sarcoma has started to shrink. I wanted to start raising money to show my gratitude towards developing sarcoma research and how much they've helped my mum.
Abi and I have decided to run Plymouth half in support of Sarcoma UK
