I am proud to be running the London Marathon to raise money for Beaumond House Hospice Care in Newark, a charity that provides outstanding palliative and end-of-life care to people across Newark and Sherwood, as well as vital support for their families. Their services include in-patient care, Hospice at Home, day therapy, complementary therapies, bereavement support and a 24-hour advice line, ensuring that local people receive compassionate, personalised care when they need it most.

Beaumond House has cared for two of my close family members, who are sadly no longer with us. The compassion, kindness and high standard of care they provided to both my loved ones and our family during such a difficult time meant more than words can express. We will always be grateful for the support they gave us.

Running the London Marathon in aid of Beaumond House is my way of giving something back and helping to ensure they can continue providing this incredible care to other local families. It will be an honour to take on this challenge for a charity that has made such a meaningful difference to my family. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help Beaumond House continue its vital work and support people when they need it most.
