Story

I’m taking on a skydive this September to support the incredible work of Alzheimer’s Society, a cause that means so much to me and my family.
My partner Luke’s dad, Kevin, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at just 55 years old. Since then, life has changed in ways we never expected. Kevin is also living with type 1 diabetes and epilepsy, which makes his day-to-day life even more challenging.
Luke is an only child, and although Kevin now lives independently, he relies on the support of carers to help him manage his conditions. Watching someone you love go through this is incredibly tough, and it affects the whole family.
I’m doing this skydive not just for Kevin, but for Luke, and for every family facing the reality of Alzheimer’s. It’s a terrifying challenge for me, but nothing compared to what so many people go through every single day.
Any donation, big or small, will help Alzheimer’s Society continue their vital work — supporting families like ours, funding research, and working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
