Story
A bucket list adventure with a purpose!
From 8th-17th October 2027, I'll be travelling to Peru to take on the incredible challenge of trekking the iconic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu to raise money for Blythe House Hospice.
Over four days, I'll trek around 45km through the Andes Mountains, reaching altitudes of over 4,200 metres before arriving at Machu Picchu. It will be a real physical and mental challenge, but one I'm looking forward to taking on.
I'm doing this to raise money for Blythe House Hospice, an amazing local charity that provides specialist care and support to people and families across our community.
Like so many people, cancer has affected my family. Having lost my mum to cancer, I wanted to take on a challenge that would help raise funds for a charity supporting local families facing some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Machu Picchu has always been on my bucket list, so when the opportunity came to experience it while raising money for Blythe House Hospice, it felt like the perfect challenge to take on.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Blythe House continue providing the care and support that so many people rely on.
Thank you so much for supporting me on this journey! 🤍
