Story
I am running the London Marathon 2026 to raise money for Spinal Research! There are an estimated 105,000 people in the UK with a Spinal Cord Injury and one of them is my sister Hannah. Earlier this year, she woke up and after suffering a rare and random spinal stroke was paralysed overnight.
Spinal Research is the UK's leading medical charity focused on the repair and restoration of the spinal cord, and exists to beat paralysis. Despite the importance of this work, Spinal Research does not receive governmental funding; all projects are funded by donations.
Running this marathon is only a fragment of a challenge compared to what Hannah has faced and continues to every day. Despite this Han has been formidable and is the most resilient person facing this adversity.
With your help, we can #CureParalysis.
