We are fundraising for Dr Riley’s Paediatric Rheumatology Team who have looked after Maxwell since he suddenly became so unwell last year.

We can’t thank them enough for their care and support whilst he was in hospital and in the months since. They care for children and young people with life long conditions, and they provide the support and treatment to help them learn to cope with and manage their conditions themselves.

Hopefully the money that we raise will enable more of the Rheumatology nurses to attend courses about some of the rarer conditions such as Maxwell’s and to invest in some VR equipment to keep the youngsters amused on long days on the ward.
