Story
Myself and my sister are travelling to and around the north of New Zealand. Whilst we are there we are doing a 12,000 feet sky dive, in memory of our dad.
We lost our dad on the 7th of January 2024 against mental heath. This was a shock to our whole family and we are still slowly adjusting to life without him. We know it will be difficult, but with the help of life craft who have helped us along this difficult journey, we are getting through each day at a time. That is why we are hoping to raise some money for this incredible charity who don’t just help the people suffering from mental health. They also help people to get their lives back on track, and help the family’s who have suffered loosing someone through suicide.
Our dad always wanted to go to New Zealand, it was always a bucket list country for him. This is why my sister and I are going out there to do the trip that he always wanted to do. We will be taking a part of him on a final journey around New Zealand before we lay part of him to rest in the beautiful country. Hopefully by doing this jump we can hold a new memory for him, on this incredible trip as well. Even though this sky dive and trip can not bring our happy, loving, hardworking and motivated father back. But hopefully every pound that we raise we can help to stop another family going through this, or help a person get through their own grief journey. We would love to help this charity with the work they do, and their contribution to helping improve mental health.
Any donation greatly appreciated!!
Thanks ever so much in advance,
Abbie and Charlotte
