3 Peaks. 24.5 Miles. 10 Hours. 1 Team.

This Tuesday, 8th September, my colleagues and I are stepping out of our comfort zones to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Shelter.

This is why;

Imagine not knowing where you’ll be sleeping tonight. This isn't a hypothetical for 84,000 families across the UK, it is their reality. Behind the UK's housing emergency are families living in damp, unsafe conditions, and thousands of children without a stable roof over their heads. Shelter offers the lifeline of expert advice and legal support to help families find and keep a safe home.

Here's what as little as £1 funds:

🏠 £35 provides expert housing advice via webchat.

☎️ £50 covers an emergency helpline call.

⚖️ £100 pays for critical legal advice to protect a home.

The Challenge We're Facing:

- 24.6 miles (39.6km) of walking

- 1,610 meters of elevation gain

- Summiting Pen-y-ghent (694 m) , Whernside (736 m) and Ingleborough (723m)

- Finishing the entire loop in under 10 hours
