Story
Dundee and Angus ADHD is the charity I work for. They have made such an impact on so many families life’s and the level of support that can be offered is endless. At the moment families are waiting up to 6 years for an assessment with another added 2 year wait for medication, adult services are also up to a 2 year wait for an assessment. On top of this the medication shortage has left so many families and individuals without vital medication they need. This has left so many families and individuals suffering and in desperate need of support and guidance. Help is needed now more than ever for so many people. Me and Andy are doing the mighty stride Kiltwalk to try and raise some money for this amazing charity to allow them to continue carrying out the amazing work they do and to help raise awareness of ADHD and the impact it can have on individuals and their families.
We believe in the difference we are making in young people's lives who have ADHD. The charity has helped countless families over the course of the last 10 years through our youth groups, IMPACT courses, parent support groups and adult support groups.
The positive impact we have made in people's lives is intangible and we believe that raising money for this is a great cause.
